General Martin info (by Jannie):
Martin's birthday is November 26, 1978 (I think). He was born in Poland, but moved to Florida with his family when he was 5 and has lived in St. Petersburg, FL until just shortly after high school. I went to Riviera Middle School and Northeast High School with him and he is a very funny, intelligent guy. Martin was the junior class and then senior class president and voted Most Likely to Become President and Most Likely to Succeed. He also won the school's top all around guy competition, Mr. Striking Viking. Martin was on the Academic Team, The Spanish Honor Society, The National Honor Society, Hi-Y (a community and political club) and Mu Alpha Theta (Math club). He excelled in sports, academics, humor, kindness and life in general. I don't claim to know everything about Martin, or even a whole lot, but I am a big fan of his and have been since the 6th grade. I've never met anyone as wonderful and truly modest as him. I'm not obsessed with him or anything - I just thought I'd make him a site since I like making web sites. :)
The Yearbook's Hall of Fame entry:
"Eighteen year old Martin... was born in Szczecin, Poland. The son of Jozef and Elizabeth..., this senior plans to attend the Universiy of Florida where he will major in medicine and minor in Spanish. He then hopes to work with the World Heath Organization.
When asked to give advice to underclassmen, Martin says, 'strive for perfection, but accept your best. And remember that a journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step.'"

Fan Club Status:
My name is Jannie and I started the page 6-9-99 and I only take a look at it about once a year, so don't look for updates or anything (sorry). This fan club was started with only 2 members (me and my mother, Debi), but now that Martin fans have signed the guestbook, we are expanding! As soon as everyone realizes that Martin is a wonderful person, we'll have a lot more fans. Please sign my guestbook to let me know you were here! WE LOVE MARTIN!
About this site:
Credits: The pictures and Martin quotes on this site were taken from the 1997 Northeast High School yearbook called "The Viking Log," volume 43 and it was published by "Taylor Publishing Company." The pictures were either taken by the school's yearbook staff or by Bryn-Alan Studios. Please don't sue me, I don't know any better.
FYI, the pictures appear in the yearbook in perfect clarity and there is nothing wrong with my scanner, but for some reason, any pictures scanned from a book or a magazine come out with those patterned lines on them. I do apologize.
